Neighbourhood regeneration 2.0: Crafting sustainable and inclusive communities

Following the successful first edition held at SP2024, this workshop continued the clustering momentum by exploring synergies between several EU-funded projects and members of the Built4People (B4P) stakeholder communities to collaborate toward a more inclusive, sustainable, and high-quality built environment. Building on the discussions launched in 2024, this session supported the co-design of a joint collaboration roadmap for 2025–2026, reinforcing synergies between B4P projects and stakeholder networks.

The workshop focused on the urgent need for neighbourhood regeneration aligned with sustainability, inclusivity, and low-carbon goals. It presented a range of innovation actions targeting buildings and the urban environment, highlighting how these contributed to EU sustainability policies and supported the upscaling of solutions from buildings to the neighbourhood level.
