This workshop facilitated cross project collaboration for FoF-09-2020 projects (DENiM, ENERMAN, ECOFACT, and E2COMATION). To support the development of a more sustainable and energy efficient manufacturing industry, cross cutting challenges must be addressed such as: digitalisation for energy efficient manufacturing (integration, data management and sharing, information modelling), energy twins for manufacturing systems (modelling, simulation), and monitoring & verification of energy performance (standards, certification, tools, KPIs).
