Abstract

This workshop presented DISTENDER, an EU project guiding the integration of climate adaptation and mitigation through participatory approaches in ways that respond to specific impacts and risks of climate change, supported by quantitative and qualitative analysis that facilitates understanding of interactions, synergies and trade-offs between climate change actions. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) participated, making the link between DISTENDER and the three IPCC Working Groups.
