Abstract

This workshop, guided by the ERA-NET project GENTE, began with an analysis of the past growth of energy communities to enable a forecast of their continued development in Europe. An overview of the GENTE toolkit for energy communities, explained the role of IoT, edge intelligence, and AI in community implementation to support ongoing growth, was followed by a pitching session for cross-project networking and future collaborations.
