Smart Readiness Indicator: Market uptake

The SRI will again be a topic of discussion and knowledge exchange at the Sustainable Places conference, where LIFE and HORIZON projects working on the SRI will share their insights with invited industry representatives during a 4-hour thematic track in the main auditorium.

Organized by stakeholders active in the Working Group #3 of the SRI Platform and the LIFE SRI projects nearing completion, this session will focus on the results available and next actions to take in order to facilitate the implementation of the SRI by industry.

When attending this session, you will hear from:

  • Insights on the drivers to the digitalisation of the building sector by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA)
  • The experience of SRI testing in Italy
  • Concrete results from European projects to support the market uptake of the SRI
  • Forward-looking aspects to further support the uptake of smart buildings
  • A debate with industry professionals

The session is organized by:

It will include contributions from other LIFE and HORIZON projects working on the  SRI: DATAWiSE, EVELIXIA, iEPB, SmarterEPCtunES, WeForming and WILSON.

The session is made possible thanks to the sponsorship of eu.bac, the European Building Automation and Controls Association, which represents Europe’s leading manufacturers of building automation and control solutions that drive energy efficiency, system flexibility, and healthier indoor environments in both residential and non-residential buildings.

The session also benefits from the support of industrial sponsors: BrainBox AI, which empowers a building’s HVAC system through algorithms and deep learning AI models, and IES, which delivers innovative software solutions and consultancy services to decarbonise the built environment.
